Sharyn’s Sirens: Daily police and fire roundup

CHILD SHOT WITH BB GUN

• Aid and police were called about 4:50 p.m. yesterday to the 200 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue in Chehalis where a 10-year-old boy had been shot in the eye with a BB gun. His 9-year-old brother was aiming at a fence and the BB bounced and hit his brother, according to police. It was purely an accident, police Sgt. Gary Wilson said. The child was taken to the hospital to be looked at, Wilson said.

“TIGER” COLORS FOUND AT CHEHALIS HIGH SCHOOL

High School on Southwest 16th Street in Chehalis early this morning where someone used black and orange paint on the big rock outside the school, the grass, parking lot, sidewalk and building. Police Sgt. Gary Wilson said the rival “Tiger colors” were suspected to have been left by Centralia High School students. “I think they’re just gonna have the offending party come and fix it,” Wilson said.

So they put that Centralia spray painted Chehalis’ rock, but they didn’t report that Chehalis spray painted over Centralia’s rock the week before? I know the cops were involved in that too my mother works at the police station. It’s an ongoing thing. Funny how when it comes to Lewis County, the paper always seems to make Centralia look bad when Chehalis does the same thing.
