Koralynn Marie Fister: 2010 – 2012

2012.0228.koralynn.vigil

Well over 200 people raised their candles tonight for two-year-old Koralynn Fister at Washington Park in Centralia. The short vigil intended for healing of the community following last week's tragic death of the Centralia toddler was organized by the emergency room at Providence Centralia Hospital.

  4. really? really? says:

Why didnt anyone notice this baby was being torchered for weeks? The mom? The dad? Grammas? Really? No one paid any attention to the kid but the guy charged?
I sure hope there are more charges to come for the rest of the family.

  5. Dawn says:

The person who carried this child and brought her into this world holds the responsibility to this child’s death. Yes, the boyfriend is a maniac who deserves death but you will never convince me….being a mother myself of a 2 and 3 yr old that she had no idea her children were being abused. She had some man move in with her…and her babies. You can’t tell me they never cried out to her when she left. Did she never change a diaper or give a bath or clip their nails? So…let’s let her just go get with another creep and make some more babies….cause Wow! This MOTHER truly deserves it.

  6. I wish people would quit holding vigils for children after they’ve been murdered and start holding the mothers of these children responsible in the court system.

  7. onyresident says:

in my opinion, child rapists deserve to be violently raped, castrated, then shot in the head. end of story.

  8. debbie says:

my daughter knew this sick bastrd when she was in high school. i pray to god when this creep is in custody the other inmates will take care of him!!! (if you know what i mean). hopefully he won’t be in protective custody, if he isn’t then he may not get death through the court system but i bet he will get death if he’s put with the other inmates!!!!!!

  9. mee says:

THIS IS SO FUKED ……THE INBALENCE OF THE SYSTEM IF THIS SICK FUKER GETS ANYTHING LESS THEN THE REST OF HIS SICK FUKEN LIFE IN PRISON LITTARLY ….NOT JUSTIFYING ANYTHING BUT THE “GANG ” ACTIVITY IN THE PAST WAS CONVICTED IN A HARSH MANNER IN ONE CASE A 96 YEAR SENTENCE WAS IMPOISED SO IF A SIK FUK LIKE THIS IS GIVEN ANYTHING LESS ITS JUST WRONG ….GIVE HIME LIFE “LITTARLY” OR JUST GIVE HIM THE DEATH SENTANCE AN LET HIM DIE A SLOW DEATH SO HE HAS ALL THE SHIT HE DONE TO THAT POOR LITTLE GIRL RUNNING THRO HIS HEAD RIGHT BEFORE HE DIES….AS FOR THE MOTHER SHE NEEDS TO BE CHARGED AS WELL …..HER POOR JUDGEMENT COST HER DOUGHTERS LIFE ….BECAUSE OF HER ..HER POOR BABY THAT SHE CARRIED INSIDE OF HER FOR 9 MO AN BROUGHT INTO THIS WORLD WAS BEING HURT AN SHE DIDENT SEE IT …THAT POOR LITTLE GIRL NEVER DISERVED ANYTHING LIKE THAT …AN MY HEART GOES OUT TO HER SISTER …CUZ SHE ONLY HAD HER SISTER FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME….

  10. GuiltyBystander says:

BTW, Anne (sorry for misspelling your name in the last post), I wasn’t commenting on your sense of compassion so much as inferring that the responsibility for the well-being of children belongs to the parents, not society at large…I don’t think most societies are emotionally healthy enough to turn the care of our kids over to.

  11. GuiltyBystander says:

Please, Ann, not the “village” thing. Besides, I wouldn’t reference a continent as screwed up as Africa as a means of validating a point. The last thing we want to emulate are nations like Somalia, Zimbabwe or Liberia.

  12. Anne Norskog says:

“It takes a village to raise a child.” This wisdom comes from Africa, not America. The horror this baby must have felt defies description…and no one really listened.

The monster who committed the tortuous rapes, physical abuse and then her murder is without a soul. Well and truly, he is without redemption.

The heart aches at such atrocities and torment little Koralynn endured until she could endure no more. Now, she is in the arms’ of the angels and in The House of Our Lord where not another person can ever harm her again.

My prayers are with her sibling and extended family members.

  13. George says:

As it turns out, they aren’t even going after a charge of murder, but “homicide by abuse”, with a maximum penalty of life without parole. So, once again, Lewis County prosecutors have dropped the ball.

  14. Nonexistent Justice says:

If what GuiltyByStander says is true, then these prosecuters are as guilty as Reeder for no doing anything to deter nasty monsters like him.

  15. GuiltyBystander says:

How often is the death penalty EVER handed down when a child is murdered? While much lip service is given to the need to protect kids, sentences for child murderers are almost always lighter than if an adult was murdered.

If we’ve seen anything of Jonathan Meyer during his time as prosecutor, he will never seek the death penalty no matter how heinous the crime. The county can’t afford to fight all the appeals that would inevitably arise if a death sentence were handed down.

There WILL be a conviction, but it won’t come with the death penalty. Bet on it. A life sentence is the best that can be hoped for, and even that isn’t automatic because it seems sentences in cases of child murder or abuse are shorter than if the victim had been an adult.

  16. Joe says:

I know that this innocent life is now alive with her lord……Now , I hope our prosecutors office goes for the Death penalty and send the demon who did this to his maker.

  17. sunshinegirl says:

Just give ten minutes alone with this guy.
