The Thurston County courthouse was among at least four courthouses evacuated because of bomb threats this afternoon, according to KOMOnews.com
The Olympian [1] writes at 5 p.m. that explosive sniffing dogs were checking around the perimeter of the complex but nothing suspicious has turned up; employees were sent home early.
KOMOnews.com [2] reports that bomb threats were also received at courthouses in Chelan, Douglas and Benton counties.

CORRECTION: This news item has been updated to a correct short-lived but very serious typo; the Chelan County courthouse was among those affected, not Chehalis. My sincere apologies to anyone who saw that during the few minutes that it read incorrectly.
