The (Longview) Daily News reports a Chehalis-based bail bond company may no longer post bail for inmates in the Cowlitz County Jail as of yesterday.

News reporter Leslie Slape writes Jail Sucks Bail Bonds failed to pay a forfeited bond in a timely manner.

    Judge Brosey would have let him bail down here anyway if Seattle wouldn’t have finished it.

    If you will check with the state of Washington they have been cited and licensed suspend at least once under the state of Washington laws. Maybe this will put them out of business…

    This is the same bail bonds company that bailed out Maurice Clemens, the man that killed 4 Lakewood Police officers. They posted his bail for around $130,000 on child rape charges and they accepted $8,000 from Clemens, trusting that he would keep wearing his ankle bracelet.

    Jail isn’t the only thing that “sucks” apparently!
