The Olympian reports it appears accelerants were used to start the fire in a Ford Bronco found burning with a body inside of it in the Capitol Forest west of Littlerock on Tuesday morning.

News reporter Jeremy Pawloski writes the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office can’t find the vehicle’s registered owner, a man in his 50s.

The Olympian indicated this afternoon the dead man has been identified as 53-year-old Scott J. Madison of Olympia.

    this was a horrific crime that unfortunately will forever be left unsolved & remember daily by the victims daughter who only wants answers & wont stop till she gets them. This was a horrific day for her & all involved.
    He is greatly missed.

    Hmmm they say that they are pretty sure the guy died of unnatural causes……with a car fire where accelerants were used I can be fairly positive when I say that he probably didn’t die of natural causes.

    Geez can’t find the registered owner? Yeah that’s probaly the victim. As America finaly falls to her knees were going to see lots more of this kind of criminal act in the near future. What bothers me is this man could of been a felon and was attacked and had no way to defend himself since his rights were taken away. The problem is many felons have no way to defend themselves or their familys as America turns into a War Zone. Defending your home with a Gun against armed intruders is not allowed for the convicted.
