DRUGS

• A 65-year-old Oakville man was arrested outside Wal-Mart in Chehalis overnight for a warrant and possession of methamphetamine. It was about 12:40 a.m. and an officer recognized Gerald Cayenne, according to the Chehalis Police Department. He was taken to the hospital to be cleared for apparent intoxication and then booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.

• Police arrested a 50-year-old Centralia man for warrants and also alleged possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute yesterday afternoon in connection with an address on the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue. The suspect was booked into the Lewis County Jail after contact with officers about 2:30 p.m., however, prosecutors declined to file charges. Further details were not readily available.

• A 14-year-old girl was arrested for alleged possession of marijuana and misdemeanor assault yesterday afternoon after contact with police at the 1500 block of South Gold Street in Centralia. She was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A case involving a 14-year-old boy contacted at the 900 block of Johnson Road in Centralia yesterday afternoon will be referred for potential charges of possession of marijuana and prescription pills, according to the Centralia Police Department.

VANDALISM

• Police were called yesterday morning to the 1700 block of North National Avenue in Chehalis regarding a passenger window broken out a freight truck at the Sunbirds Shopping Center.

    Wow all the cases where people are charged with possession of controlled substances. The ages range from 13-65. Nasty stuff!
