If all you religous whackos love the death penalty so much, then may I suggest you do the rest of us a favor and move to Texas?

Texas is the greatest death penalty state in the union and they would love to have ya’!!!

The US is the only developed nation that still has the death penalty. With that said I am in favor of the death penalty with less appeals available. The object of an appeal is to argue that your constitutional rights were violated during the trial. Letting them go on for over 10 + years is ridiculous.

The Governor should not just issue an executive order like this base don his own personal beliefs. he is a representative of the people. There should be some type of forum for the Governor to hear from the public on their stand on the death penalty.

By removing the death penalty the ability of prosecutors to make deals with serial killers and the like is gone. If a someone knows they are facing life without parole and no other deal can be made then there is no incentive to give information.

It is very costly to use the death penalty but that is mainly because of the cost of all the appeals inmates file. There should be a limit on those instead of a moratorium on the death penalty.

Death Row inmates have to specially housed with special treatment given to keep them from other inmates. There are HUGE costs associated with this.

The best thing would be to put them in population because they would simply die sooner.

By having a death penalty, the State is taking away the power of the people to exact proper revenge if he/she is truly deserving.

The only thing the death penalty being administered by the state is good for is to help assuage the religious whack job’s desire for revenge and an eye for an eye.

But, most conservative religious cultists just don’t have faith in their fellow man, only the state and god.

So let me make sure I’ve got this right: It’s important to spare the lives of convicted murderers, but there’s no problem with taking the lives of unborn innocents committing crimes of inconvenience?

Kind of says it all, really.

  5. Mesayst says:

It takes away the police ability to strike a bargain with a felon, serial murderer ect.

Maybe if someone tortures, rapes and murders one of his loved ones it will change his mind. I didn’t think Inslee was too bad until he did this. What a complete fucktard.

This has got to be one of the dumbest moves made by any elected person in this State. It more or less gives the green light to shit heads who know that they will have 3 meals a day and a bed no matter how bad the crime is. The only reason people on death row aren’t nuked sooner is because of other liberals having pitty
