Two men are hospitalized with stab wounds after a fight at a Centralia home last night about a woman they both have dated.
Aid called to the 2700 block of Harrison Avenue about 11:30 p.m. found two injured males and transported them to Providence Centralia Hospital. Both were subsequently taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Deputies are looking for the woman they believe can provide a witness statement, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
“We really need to find her so we can put some of the puzzle pieces together,” Chief Civil Deputy Stacy Brown said this morning.
Brown said it happened at the residence of one of the victims, a 35-year-old man. The other victim was unable to give any information to deputies, she said.
The investigation has revealed thus far that a 38-year-old Centralia man and the woman arrived to the home shortly before midnight and an argument ensued, according to the sheriff’s office.
The 35-year-old told deputies they began fighting, he was stabbed in the neck with an unknown object and the other man yelled he was going to kill him, according to the sheriff’s office.
Brown relates the 35-year-old said he grabbed a kitchen knife nearby to defend himself and stabbed the 38-year-old.
The 38-year-old is on life support in critical condition with knife injuries to his face and head, according to responders.
No names have been released.
Brown said the woman, 33, who the two were arguing over, called 911 but left the scene in a white VW Passat prior to the arrival of law enforcement. She has an unrelated outstanding felony warrant for her arrest, Brown said, perhaps being the reason for her departure.
Detectives believe she may be in Grays Harbor County.
Brown didn’t have details about the nature and number of injuries each man sustained, but firefighters report one victim was stabbed in the lower neck/shoulder area and was in serious condition. Brown described the injuries to the 35-year-old resident as severe and to his neck and face.
Brown said both men are in critical condition.
The object with which the resident was stabbed has not been found, according to Brown, and detectives are continuing their investigation.

Okay, so she makes up a good story days after the event and after several days of laying low. Or, did you help her with the story? Why should we believe this?
Your version is, “She was driving to Riverside Fire Station to get help and get them to follow her back. She got to the Ford’s prairie vet and saw them coming.” Yet she did not follow them back when she did see them coming, presumably to some unknown to them address. Instead she goes to your house in hysterics. The hysterics part I could actually understand, but the inconsistent story I cannot understand.
DOC hold? This does make her sound like a fine and upstanding citizen. Yeah, I am somewhat judgmental, but then a man is dead and all that was needed to keep him alive was not go to that house that night.

That’s probably true. Most of us wouldn’t cause to people to start slashing each other with knives and then go into hiding. Guess we just haven’t lived.
Michelle is in jail on an unrelated DOC hold. She met voluntarily with the police. I saw Michelle right after it happened and she was a total mental wreck. She had called 911 several times and didn’t know the address of the house, somewhat causing a delay in response time of help. She was driving to Riverside Fire Station to get help and get them to follow her back. She got to the Ford’s prairie vet and saw them coming. She was not even mentally coherent when she came to my house due to what she had just seen happen to two people she cared a lot about. She met with police as soon as she was mentally stable enough to do so. All of you haters and judgemental people need to know that you have no idea how you would react in the same situation. Her heart is broken and I’m not sure she will ever be ok. Speculation in this situation is ridiculous. So very much has been lost here on so many different levels. The whole thing is so tragic…. for the sake of Dale’s family, and for the family’s of all involved, let it rest. The truth will prevail in the end.

Well she’s in jail now. Whether she turned herself in or was caught, who knows. Hopefully she can give a truthful statement to the events of that night. This whole situation is sad.

Michelle Oliver, if you loved him as much as you claim you wouldn’t have been a coward and left him in his own blood, clinging for life. A real woman as my self would have looked past the part of going to jail and stayed there and helped him. But what you don’t seem to understand is what true love is. @sharyn Im sorry if I came off as rude, I enjoy reading the sirens regularly. In my opinion the story was conflicting, yet I shouldnt have been an ass about it. I am sorry for the attitude that I came across with, I can see why your defensive when all you can do is report on the info that is given to you at the time. I will try to remember that you are not actually ringside to these events and be less critical.

“Been There”, also, in my story i did report the 35-year-old told deputies he was stabbed in the neck, and i also wrote the sheriff’s office described his injuries as severe to his neck and face … the sheriff’s office spokesperson did not say he had stab wounds in both places … nor was she able to answer the question about, if she meant he had stab wounds in both places. she didn’t know. however, the fire department described the injury to the lesser injured person as stabbed in the lower neck/shoulder area … clear as mud maybe, but accurately reflecting the info i could get from the two agencies.

The girl probably stabbed the guy in the neck and took off with the weapon since they can find it.
The story says that the 35yr old was stabbed in the neck and then at the end it says the were stabbed in the head and face. Which one was it? The story also said it was the 35yr olds homethat this took place, yet Komo reports it was the 38yr olds home. Unimportant info maybe but it should atleast be reported correctly.
