HALF DOZEN CITED FOR FIGHT

• Six people were arrested when officers responded about 6:25 p.m. yesterday to the 400 block of North Ash Street in Centralia. Arrested for fighting in public and then released were Centralia residents Lori A. Romero, 32, Miguel V. Martinez, 18, Cornelia T. Delarosa, 21, Sabrina L. Towne, 21, Ricky L. Blay, 19, as well as a girl whose name was not not released because she is a juvenile, according to the Centralia Police Department.

THEFT CENTRALIA

• Centralia police were called about 8:10 p.m. yesterday to the 100 block of North Tower Avenue where three pool cues were stolen from a business after the owners left them briefly unattended. The loss is estimated at $1,000, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BRUSH FIRE

• Firefighters called yesterday afternoon to a brush fire on near the Burger Claim on Old Highway 99 in Grand Mound extinguished it before it got bigger than about 20 feet by 20 feet. It appeared someone had burning a garbage pile and it got away from them, according to Wes Thurston Regional Fire Authority.
