She and her husband Danny A. Wing, both 27, have each pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and third-degree child assault. Jasper Henderling-Warner, 3, died from what the coroner labeled chronic battered child syndrome last Oct. 5.

Lewis County Senior Deputy Prosecutor Will Halstead and defense attorney John Crowley told the judge this afternoon they’d like the sentencing to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 21.

Authorities have spoken about the little boy’s injuries, but nothing has been shared publicly about how he got them.

Halstead said since the Wing’s plea agreements, they’ve gotten a lot of answers, but the case is still ongoing so further details would not be revealed until the sentencing hearings.

Danny Wing is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 14. He and his wife remain held in the Lewis County Jail.

Shortly before this store broke I was standing in the Wal-Mart frozen food isle, and a couple with a small child were having what looked like a fight. I’ve got a great memory for problems; and this stuck with me. The adult male alarmed me due to his intense, visible, psycho anger. The woman looked dumb and frozen. The child was just being a child. They looked at me because they knew they were making a scene. I glared at them and left. I don’t have kids, so I’m not going to step in between you and your apparently misbehaving child. However, in this case I really should have because I’m convinced that these people were the Wings and the child was Jasper.

She is a liar saying she loved Jasper. She should be getting the same punishment that the Wing’s should get, What happened to Jasper.

If it weren’t for her choice of drugs over Jasper he would be alive today.

All these people who “loved” Jasper. Where were they when Nikki needed a safe place to leave her son to “do the best she could”?

The coroner’s office took better care of Jasper after death than his family did before he was killed. So sad.

I have heard this from your kind before Nixon and my fervent wish is that you do not breed. The fact that you defend her is incredible. She sentenced her son to a long , slow , torturous death. You will find little mercy for her here . What mercy we have is for the child unfortunate enough to be born to her.

Obviously, leaving your kid with drug people, there has to be a good reason that we all don’t know. The “mother” should be jailed as well….
