THANKSGIVING DISRUPTIONS

• Centralia police used a Taser to subdue a man who allegedly tried to reach for a knife he was carrying after attempting to eat a baggie of methamphetamine while he was being detained by police for an alleged assault of his girlfriend. Officers responding to the approximately 3 p.m. call on Thursday at the 700 block of H Street booked Russell E. Charnell III, 33, of Centralia, into the Lewis County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A garage was reported burglarized about 4 a.m. on Thursday at the 800 block of South Gold Street in Centralia.

THANKSGIVING EVE RACING

• Alexx J. Pouge, 18, of Rochester was arrested after he was contacted on Harrison Avenue for allegedly racing at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Pouge was issued a criminal traffic citation and then released, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CAR PROWLS

• Centralia police were called at 8:20 p.m. yesterday to the 500 block of Hunt Street where an individual reported the theft of their purse from their vehicle.

• A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at the 1300 block of Logan Street yesterday, according to a report made to the Centralia Police Department at 8 p.m.

• Police were called about 12:25 p.m. yesterday to the 200 block of East Main Street in Centralia where they were told an individual jumped a fence and stole a stereo from a parked vehicle.

• An iPod was stolen from a parked vehicle at the 200 block of Downing Road, according to a report made to police at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

• Tools were stolen from a truck at the 1100 block of Creekside Court in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 11 a.m. on Thursday.

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING WITH COUNTERFEIT MONEY

• A white male suspect described as having Justin Bieber-style hair, passed fake $100 bills at two different businesses at the Centralia Outlets yesterday, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CRIME STOPPERS OF LEWIS COUNTY

• Two early morning smash and grab burglaries within an hour of each other at businesses in Toledo and Centralia last Sunday are believed to have been committed by the same suspects, according to law enforcement. Crime Stoppers of Lewis County reports security videos from both locations show the pair were driving a small dark colored pickup truck. Deputies responding to a 3:30 a.m. alarm at the Shell station on the 100 block of Mulford Road arrived to find the front glass door broken and merchandise on the ground. At 4:30 a.m., Centralia police responded to an alarm at a convenience store on the 100 block of Harrison Avenue and also found the front door glass door broken. ON THE ROAD

• Firefighters were called about 5:15 p.m. yesterday to the parking lot at Sunbird Shopping Center on North National Avenue in Chehalis where a car came to rest upside down. Chehalis Firefighter Jay Birley said he wasn’t certain how it happened, but said the driver was uninjured.

    I know how a car came to be upside down , I’ve been on that road going the speed limit when those little fucking rice burners all tricked out flashed by me doin 60 , sometimes 2 or 3 of them. They have no regard for the traffic and act like they are in some fucking movie.
