CHEHALIS –  A defendant on trial in Chehalis this morning reportedly got up from his seat, head-butted his father who was in the audience and fled the courtroom.

Dominic Combs did not get very far as numerous law enforcement officers were already present on the fourth floor of the Lewis County Law and Justice Center.

He was stopped at the doorway exiting Lewis County Superior Court Judge James Lawler’s courtroom by corrections office as well as Centralia officers who were there for his case.

At least three Lewis County sheriff’s detectives at the end of the hall ran down to assist.

Chief Deputy Stacy Brown said it was a bench trial, so there was no jury in the room.

Combs arm was injured as he went through the door so he was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital, Brown said.

Combs was on trial for incidents stemming from mid-February of this year that resulted in charges of felony harassment, intimidating a witness, second-degree burglary, protection order violations and second-degree trespass, according to his lawyer David Arcuri.

The judge declared a mistrial.

ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE! And not everyone can understand how each of us is created different from another. We all live our own hell in one way or another. Until you have walked a day in my skin…. you will never know my struggle. Without SUPPORT, you cannot make it thru life untainted.

Way to go Dominic about time this should be your last straw now hope they throw you in a cage for the rest of your life and throw away the key. And as for your mom they should do the same. For she is the one who created such a monster.

For the love of God Mary…. WAKE THE F UP ALREADY! Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this your “bastard” child? Didn’t Mark step up to the plate and raise this kid? Dom is just a pice of shit druggie who has ripped his “dad” off for everything that wasn’t nailed down including your car. Enough already! He is hardly a victim. It’s to bad Mark chose to press charges instead of beating that little punk half to death like he would have done to his own son Travis!

I truly hope this low life piece of trash never sees the light of day again!

Funny, Dominic is a graduate of green hill, he is a cull, as is all of his family… great judge of character Bo… congrats????

  7. Connie says:

Thank you bo, it is sad to see this and my poor dad. 🙁 Dominic really can be a good person when he’s sober. And jail can have the same mental influences on a person as drugs. Being surrounded by negative people and their dark outlook on how to handle things. He has tried a few times to straighten up but unfortunately his past has caused road blocks for most opportunities that come easy for most. He would get tired of rejection from the “normal” society and be welcomed with open arms by his past associates leading him straight back to the drugs and the attitude that comes with it.

  8. BobbyinLC says:

That is sad Bo. You always are the one who gives people the most benefit of the doubt on here. If you feel this is the only recourse then this guy must really be lost to society.

I have known Dominic and his family for years. What a shame. He has had literally had ten million opportunities over the years. He just don’t get it. I know his father, mother, uncles and sister he came from a good family. Such a shame. The only other option sadly is to just lock him away for a long, long time. 🙁
