• Chehalis police were called about 1:35 p.m. yesterday to the 300 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue where someone had slashed all four tires on a female’s vehicle.

FRAUD

• Centralia police were called about 12:30 p.m. yesterday about a female checking into a medical facility under someone else’s name at the 900 block of South Scheuber Road in order to obtain prescription narcotic medication. No arrest was made, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police took a report just after 10 a.m. yesterday from the 700 block of H Street in which a female said she was contacted by a lending institution which informed her someone in Oklahoma applied for a credit card in her name.

• Centralia police were called about 5:35 p.m. yesterday to the 300 block of West Cherry Street regarding three baseball-type caps stolen from a vehicle.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• Witnesses said the driver of a Mitsubishi turned into a Cadillac damaging its front right fender at the 2100 block of North National Avenue in Chehalis and then drove away at about 8 p.m. yesterday, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Nobody was injured but Centralia police located the suspect driver and he was arrested for hit and run, according to police. Jorge L. Manzo,22, of Centralia, was booked into the Lewis County Jail.
