News brief: Man convicted for 2012 sexual assault of 13-year-old is sentenced

CHEHALIS – A former Chehalis man who admitted he took advantage of a 13-year-old girl at a Centralia party when he was 19 years old was handed down a prison term today of a little less than three and half years.

Tyler M. McKee, 22, was brought to Lewis County from Las Vegas at the end of July, charged in Lewis County Superior Court with second-degree rape of a child.

The girl reported to Centralia police in 2012 she was raped, but detectives didn’t get a break in the case until last year. She told police she was so drunk she could not walk and remembered both “Tyler” and “Jeff” being on top of her, one after the other.

Lewis County prosecutors struck a deal with McKee in which he pleaded guilty last month to two counts of second-degree child molestation, while the rape charge was dropped.

McKee is represented by Centralia lawyer J.P. Enbody.

He went before Judge James Lawler today who gave him a 41-month sentence.

Another Chehalis resident, Geffrey A. Duncan, 22, was arrested in September and charged in the same case.

Also google “Haun’s Mill Massacre” shows that Mormons were attacked.

  2. Bo Rupert says:

The Mountain Meadows Massacre was a great thing! It taught people that Mormons will fight back to even when you steal their property, violate their rights, and issue extermination orders driving them from their land. Out of any other religious group in the country, Mormons have been the most persecuted, oppressed, and targeted. Google “Missouri Governor Lilburn Boggs” and you will see where he issued an extermination order driving Mormons from their lands and killing many for no reason at all other than their faith. This is the only recorded incident of Mormons fighting back, and then look at all the trespasses that the government committed against them. The Mountain Meadow Massacre measures up to almost nothing.

  3. Doctor Gringo says:

They do indeed. Google “Mountain Meadows Massacre” for a slice of early history of Bo’s adopted church. He’s in good company.

  4. Bo Rupert says:

Oh, they do go hand in hand.

  5. Lauren says:

I know you are happy Don. Hits home to realize these things. When names come out might hit home more. A.

  6. BobbyinLC says:

    Too funny Bo.
You are a “devout member of the LDS” and yet you say people who talk to your face should fear for their safety. Devout religion and threatened violence do not go hand in hand.

  7. Don Johnson says:

Hope this rapist’s time inside changes him. One more to go

  8. Lyndsey says:

Ok, Bo ~ so Tyler bad Geff good? Strange that you are Geff’s champion and very interesting. Shows the relationship, which .. hey is okay. Sorry if you are jealous of the situation, it happens. People turn green with envy

  9. Maggie says:

First of all, I hope A. is happy. McKee maybe be going to prison but it looks like Duncan will have a trial. Hopefully, the accuser can then be uncovered for all interested parties. But… where is the third guy? I guess his rape meant nothing because of giving info. Interesting……

  10. friend? says:

Liquor can make a man half my size become insane. And I am a women whom stands at 5’3.

  11. Bo Rupert says:

Someone like me? I am sure that you have plenty of Skeletons in your closet. The reason people hate me so much is because none of you, including the court system, and other government entities can tell me what to do. Someone like me??? What if I blatantly told you, that I don’t give a damn what PEOPLE LIKE YOU have to say? I guarantee if we were face to face you wouldn’t talk such craziness to my face in fear of your own safety.

  12. huh... says:

Honestly Bo… You should just shut up. Having someone like you speak in his defense makes the majority of people here think he’s guilty.

  13. Bo Rupert says:

I have known Geff for nearly 15 years. I have lived with Geff, and his family for over a year as well as going clear through school with him. Geff and his family are honest, hardworking, God fearing people. It was due to Geff and his family that I have become a very Devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I could never ask for a better friend. I know Tyler very well to. I could see him doing this. I know Geff too well to know that he would never do this. I stand behind him 100%. I am honored, and proud to call him my friend and have a friend like him. He and his family helped me more than words could ever say. I would go to any length to help them.

  14. Lost in LC says:
