CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Coroner’s Office says it has identified the man who died of exposure in a Centralia park as 57-year-old Jerry Allen Grimm.
Grimm’s body was found Wednesday morning, after a night of freezing temperatures, with his backpack and all of his belongings at Rotary Riverside Park off Harrison Avenue.
Coroner Warren McLeod said Grimm was homeless, living in the Centralia area for the past year and a half.
He also used the name Gerald A. Ford, Jr., according to McLeod.
The coroner’s office is still trying to track down Grimm’s relatives to notify them of the death.

It would be nice if there was s picture, so we can put a face to the name. As a local of the Lewis County area I often see people that look like they need help. There have been times I have given over 50 dollars to help these people. After all I might be labeled as a nut case by Lewis County Sirens regulars but I do have a soft spot under this thick skin that can no longer show emotion or cry anymore. But I promise you I have a big heart and helping others is rewarding. I just don’t go out of my way to make changes in the community any more due to certain police officers that prefer to point guns at people and intimidate them for doing honest good deeds. I have always had this thought about the cops. If Jesus came back today the police would arrest or harm him because they just cannot understand good when they see it in the streets of Centralia, the police will harass you for picking up garbage out of the kindness of you’re heart. I know I was treated with a gun for cleaning up Tower Ave. I was rewarded by having a gun pointed at me. St this moment I gave up when I recognized who the evil ones were in our community. Their wolves hiding in Sheep’s Clothing in the form of a gun and a police costume. No dash cameras no body cameras no peace. Please for your kids sake and buy a Fluoride filtering device and install it on your faucet. Fluoride is a soft Kill Neuro toxin designed to shorten your life span and your children’s too. If you care about the children demand Centralia’s water Fluoridation be stopped immediately, it is attacking your children’s artery’s and Pineal Gland in their brain. It also causes bone cancer.
