GUNS, CAR AND TRUCK STOLEN IN VADER

• Deputies called around 11 p.m. yesterday about a possible burglary at the 1000 block of state Route 506 in Vader found unsecured doors and the interior ransacked, with 13 firearms and two vehicles stolen, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Missing was a 2008 Cadillac and a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, according to the sheriff’s office. The Cadillac was later found abandoned by the Longview Police Department, Chief Deputy Dusty Breen said. The break-in occurred sometime since Saturday, Breen said.

SHED BREAK-INS CENTRALIA

• Centralia police were called just before 7 o’clock this morning to the 1100 block of Elm Street where an individual reported that sometime during the night unknown person or persons broke into three separate sheds on the property. Nothing appears to be missing at this time, according to the Centralia Police Department.

GARAGE BREAK-IN CENTRALIA

• Centralia police were called just before 12:30 p.m. yesterday about a burglary to a garage at the 1900 block of North Pearl Street. Numerous hand and power tools were reported missing, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BREAK-IN CHEHALIS

• Chehalis police were called just before noon yesterday to the 1600 block of Gails Avenue for a report of a burglary. Further details were not readily available.

STOLEN MERCEDES FOUND IN GLENOMA

• Law enforcement looking in Glenoma for a 29-year-old resident yesterday think they briefly caught up with him, driving a stolen 2005 Mercedes Benz. Deputies and a fugitive task force were in the area of the 300 block of Anderson Road around 3 p.m. searching for Ryan A. Justice, wanted for a Department of Corrections felony warrant for escape from community custody, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. They saw the gold car pass them, turned around and followed to where it stopped behind a residence on the 400 block of Anderson Road, Chief Deputy Dusty Breen said. The car was there, but not Justice, however witnesses said he had been driving it, Breen said. A case for possession of a stolen vehicle will be referred to prosecutors, according to the sheriff’s office. The auto, valued at as much as $30,000, was returned to it owner in Lakewood, Breen said.

GUN STOLEN CENTRALIA

• An individual reported the theft of a firearm from a trailer at the 900 block of Ham Hill Road in Centralia yesterday. The case is under investigation.

MISSING MEDS

• Centralia police were called just after 10 a.m. yesterday about the theft of medication from the 1100 block of South Scheuber Road.

BOOZE AT SCHOOL

• A case involving a 12-year-old girl was referred to Lewis County juvenile prosecutors for allegedly bringing alcohol to school at the 800 block of Field Avenue in Centralia, following a call to police at about noon yesterday.
