JUVENILE ASSAULT

• Centralia police were called to the 900 block of Johnson Road about 11 a.m. yesterday and arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly assaulting a fellow student. He was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for harassment and fourth-degree assault, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called about 9:15 a.m. yesterday to take a report involving two boys fighting at Chehalis Middle School on the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street. The case is being forwarded to prosecutors for possible charges, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE

• A 52-year-old Chehalis man was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without permission yesterday after police were called to the 500 block of Northwest Ohio Avenue about 12:40 p.m. Brian D. Hardie allegedly took the car but brought it back a short time later, according to the Chehalis Police Department. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail and a case for fourth-degree assault related to the incident was to be forwarded to prosecutors for evaluation, according to police. Prosecutors today declined to file the felony charge pending further investigation.

BAD BEER MISSING

• A beer keg was reported stolen off the back of a truck that was parked behind a local business on the 100 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia about 11:30 p.m. yesterday. It was unknown how much beer was inside of it, but the owner advised it was most likely not good, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BAD BILL

• Chehalis police were called about 11:35 a.m. yesterday to the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue after a clerk began examining a $100 bill and the customers attempting to spend it walked out. The bill was taken into evidence, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

    I hope they catch the POS’s and throw the damn book at them for the sake of that poor child. When will people freaking take a stand for the innocent victims and demand justice for them. They should have never been let out on bail that poor child never got let out!!!!!
