BREAK-IN CENTRALIA

• Centralia police were called just after 6 a.m. today regarding a burglary at the 3600 block of Galvin Road in which mechanic’s tools were stolen from a shop building.

AUTO THEFT

• A grey 1993 Honda Accord was reported stolen about 2:20 p.m. yesterday from the 1000 block of North Scheuber Road in Centralia. The four-door car has a license plate reading BHF 5870, according to the Centralia Police Department.

OTHER THEFT

• The theft of jewelry was reported about 5:15 a.m. today at the 900 block of K Street in Centralia. A suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing, according to the Centralia Police Department.

VEHICLE PROWL

• Centralia police were called just after 4 p.m. yesterday for a vehicle prowl at the 800 block of North Tower Avenue in which multiple brass water meters were stolen. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A deputy was called to the 100 block of Compton Road in Morton yesterday following the discovery someone had prowled a vehicle parked inside a carport and stolen a package of cough drops and phone chargers. It happened between 12:45 a.m. and 3:15 a.m., according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

DRUGS

• Centralia police were called 11:30 a.m. yesterday to the 800 block of Eshom Road for a juvenile allegedly in possession of marijuana. The case is being referred to prosecutors for charging, according to the Centralia Police Department.

VANDALISM

• A window to house was discovered damaged after the tenants were evicted at the 400 block of South Buckner Street in Centralia. Police were called about 7:45 a.m. yesterday to investigate, according to the Centralia Police Department.
