BURGLARY AND THEFT

• Centralia police were called about 12:30 p.m. yesterday to take a report a BB pistol was stolen from a residence at the 900 block of B Street.

• Centralia police called about 12:40 p.m. yesterday about a misdemeanor theft at the 600 block of Harrison Avenue determined an employee was their suspect. A summons for third-degree theft was to be issued for the 44-year-old Centralia woman, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A 23-year-old Centralia resident was arrested yesterday afternoon for burglary in a case reported on Jan. 1 in which tools and electronics were stolen from a business at the 1100 block of South Gold Street in Centralia, according to the Centralia Police Department. Jonathan C. Siler was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.

• A 33-year-old Centralia woman was arrested on Tuesday in a case from the day before in which her mother reported a credit card was stolen and used several times, according to the Centralia Police Department. Dominique D. Vanmeerbeke booked into the Lewis County Jail for possession of stolen property and unlawful factoring of a credit card, according to police.

• Chehalis police were called about 9:45 p.m. yesterday when a 17-year-old girl being returned to the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center ran off. She got about two blocks before she was caught, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• Chehalis police were called to the 2600 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue just after 2 p.m. yesterday where a sport utility vehicle lurched into the side of a building, causing damage to the brick and aluminum siding. The driver was issued citations for improper lane usage and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
