The (Longview) Daily News reports the communities hoping to be home to a future 1000-bed prison will have to wait, as the decision on where and whether to site such a facility has been put on hold.

Daily News reporter Barbara LaBoe writes the state budget crunch means officials will look at other potential options for meeting expected future capacity.
