THEFT

• Police took a report 10 p.m. last night of a green 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe stolen from the 300 block of Courtland Street in Centralia. The vehicle has a license plate reading 031 YAU, according to the Centralia Police Department. Officers are asking anyone who sees the SUV to please call 911.

• Three laptop computers, a wedding ring and other jewelry was reported stolen in a burglary yesterday on the 300 block of Tucker Road in Toledo. A deputy called last night was told someone came inside the unlocked home between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The loss is estimated at $5,000, according to the sheriff’s office.

• Centralia police took a report yesterday from the 1000 block of West First Street about someone using someone else’s credit card and charging approximately $850, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called yesterday to a manufactured home business on the 1200 block of Northwest Maryland Avenue about the theft of wiring from beneath a manufactured home.

HIT AND RUN

• A 44-year-old Salkum driver was arrested for driving under the influence after he allegedly ran into a vehicle at the 600 block of J Street in Centralia, got out of his vehicle and walked or ran into some bushes, according to the Centralia Police Department. Harry B. Heger was contacted a few blocks away after the 6:20 p.m. incident with another man who was helping him walk, according to police. Heger was booked into the Lewis County Jail.

DRUGS

• The Centralia Street Crimes Unit yesterday evening arrested a 22-year-old woman for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance in connection with an address on the 1200 block of Lum Road. Starlynn R. Davis, of Centralia, was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department. Further details were not readily available.
